This guide cuts through the noise. Every show on this list has earned strong critical acclaim, and each entry notes the network it was made for. Availability on IPTV in the UK changes over time, so treat this as a shortlist to search for, not a promise of what is in the library tonight.

Why Watch TV Shows via IPTV?
IPTV TV shows come from three directions at once: live UK channels for new episodes, catch-up for the last week, and an on-demand library for complete seasons. With Flickhaven's UK IPTV service, all three sit behind one subscription and one TV guide, alongside live BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and international channels.
Series made for a single streaming platform are produced for that platform first, so do not assume a particular title is included: search for it during the free trial.

IPTV Box Sets: Three Places a Series Can Live
The same show can be reached three ways, and knowing which one to open saves a lot of scrolling.
The Series library
The on-demand shelf of complete seasons. Open the Series tab, search by title or browse by genre, then pick the season and episode. This is where box-set viewing happens, and where resume and subtitle options are most reliable.
Live channels
New episodes of returning shows air on a channel first. Use the EPG to see what is on tonight and set a reminder in apps that support one. For UK drama this is often the earliest place to watch.
Catch-up on the channel
Missed last night's episode? Open the channel in the guide and move backwards; catch-up keeps recent programmes for several days. It bridges the gap between the broadcast and the episode appearing in the Series library.
The on-demand side is explained in depth in how the IPTV movies and series library works, and the channel side in how catch-up TV works on IPTV.
When a Show Is Not Where You Expect
Search returns nothing for a title you know exists
Likely cause: Search in most apps matches the exact string, and titles are sometimes listed under the original or shortened name.
Check: Try the first word only, then browse the genre folder the show belongs to.
Fix: Once found, add it to favourites so you never need to search again.
The latest season is missing
Likely cause: The library is updated after episodes air, and a season that is still broadcasting may be added week by week.
Check: Look at the live channel's catch-up for the most recent episode.
Fix: Watch via catch-up now and return to the Series library once the season is complete.
An episode plays in the wrong language or without subtitles
Likely cause: The file carries several audio and subtitle tracks and the app picked the first one.
Check: Open the playback menu while the episode is running and look for audio or subtitle track options.
Fix: Select the English track and, in apps that remember it, set English as the default in settings.
Episodes play out of order
Likely cause: Some apps sort by date added rather than episode number.
Check: Look for a sort option in the season view.
Fix: Switch to sort by episode, or pick episodes by their number in the title rather than by position in the list.
What to Test During the Free 24-Hour Trial
A list of great shows is only useful if you can reach them easily on your own screen. Before paying, use the free 24-hour trial to check the parts that matter for series viewing rather than for live sport:
- Search for three series you are currently following and note how quickly each appears.
- Start an episode, stop it halfway, close the app and reopen it to see whether it resumes.
- Open catch-up on a UK channel and play something from the previous evening.
- Check subtitle and audio options on one on-demand title.
- Play one episode in the evening on the device you will actually use, not just a phone.
If those pass, the paid plan will behave the same way; the trial uses the same library and channels.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I watch all of these shows on IPTV in the UK?
This is a list of the best series, not a promise of what is in any library tonight. Shows reach IPTV through live UK channels, catch-up and the on-demand series library, and what is available changes over time. Search for your shortlist during the free 24-hour trial to see which are there.
What are the best series on IPTV right now?
Severance, The White Lotus, Slow Horses, The Bear and House of the Dragon are the strongest ongoing series on this list, with Succession and Peaky Blinders as complete box sets to start from episode one.
What are IPTV box sets?
IPTV box sets are complete seasons in the on-demand series library, rather than episodes on a live channel. You open the series, pick a season and episode, and most players remember where you stopped so you can resume on another night.
Are these shows available in 4K on IPTV?
Some series are available in 4K; it depends on how the show was made and supplied. Check the version label on the title before you press play.
How do I find a specific series in the app?
Open the Series tab rather than Live TV, then use the search field at the top. Titles are grouped by category, so if search returns nothing try the genre or network folder the show belongs to. Episodes sit inside the title, ordered by season.
Can I pick up where I left off?
Most players remember your position in an on-demand episode and offer to resume when you reopen it. This is a feature of the app, not the subscription, so if one app does not do it, another will.
What if an episode aired last night and is not in the series list yet?
Use catch-up on the live channel that broadcast it. The Series library is updated after the episode has aired, while catch-up holds the channel's recent programmes for several days, so the two cover different windows.
Do I need a different plan to get the on-demand library?
No. Every Flickhaven plan includes the same 180,000+ movies and series alongside the live channels. The only thing that changes between plans is the term length and the number of simultaneous devices.
