We are not an independent publication: the people who answer the support conversations are the people who write the guides, which is why the articles cover the problems people actually have rather than the ones that are easy to write about.
We publish as a team rather than under individual bylines, and we do not attach invented names, stock-photo headshots or fabricated credentials to our articles. What we can promise is narrower and more honest: the guides reflect how the service actually works, they are dated when updated, and they are corrected when readers tell us something has changed.

Written by the people who run the service
These guides are not independent journalism, and we do not present them as such. They are written by the team that operates Flickhaven and its sister IPTV brands, drawing on the setup and troubleshooting questions we handle in customer support every day. Where a page reviews or ranks services we operate ourselves, that ownership is disclosed on the page itself.
Claims are checked before publication
An automated check runs against every page before it deploys, looking for the claims we have banned from this site — fabricated ratings and reviews, invented statistics, urgency countdowns, guarantees we cannot honour. If one appears, the build fails. Prices come from a single configuration file, so a figure cannot go stale on one page after changing on another.
Content is updated, not abandoned
Apps change interfaces, channels move, and fixes stop working. We review high-traffic guides on a rolling basis and stamp each article with the date it was last verified — the dateModified you see in a page's metadata is real.
Reviews include the downsides
Our app reviews score real weaknesses — clunky EPG layouts, missing features, paid tiers that aren't worth it. A review that finds nothing wrong hasn't looked properly.
Legal topics are handled carefully
