IPTV Movies & Series UK
— What IPTV VOD Covers, and Is It Worth It?
IPTV movies and series sit in the VOD section of your player: VOD on IPTV means video on demand, films and full seasons you start whenever you like, separate from live channels and catch-up. Flickhaven's library holds 180,000+ titles, counting films and individual episodes, so search beats scrolling. Exclusive originals made for one streaming platform are generally not included, and titles rotate, so search for the films and series you want during the free 24-hour trial.
IPTV promises 180,000+ movies and TV series. But is the library genuinely good, or just a big number full of obscure titles? Here is what the library on our IPTV service for UK viewers covers, and where it falls short.

⚡ Quick Verdict (30-second version)
Yes, for most film and box-set viewing — with one important caveat. IPTV's VOD library is broad, covering films, series, British content and international cinema, and it comes with 55,000+ live channels in the same IPTV subscription. The caveat: exclusive originals made for one streaming platform (Stranger Things, Squid Game, The Crown) are generally not on IPTV.
Drop Netflix if you mainly watch:
✓Films (Hollywood, British, international)
✓Classic and older TV series
✓Live sport
✓International content (Bollywood, Korean, Turkish)
✓Nature docs, true crime, BBC content
Keep Netflix if you primarily watch:
△Stranger Things, Squid Game, Bridgerton
△Wednesday, Emily in Paris
△Specific Netflix Original series
△The Crown, Ozark, Narcos
What Is VOD on IPTV?
VOD on IPTV means video on demand: IPTV movies and series you start whenever you like, from the movies and series sections of your player. It is the third part of an IPTV subscription, next to live channels and catch-up, and it is what makes IPTV for movies and TV shows work like a streaming app rather than a TV guide.
What "180,000+ Titles" Actually Means
Numbers like "180,000+ titles" sound like marketing, so here is how to read it. The count includes films and individual series episodes, and some titles appear more than once in different qualities. That makes the library very large, but size is not the same as finding what you want: search and categories matter more than the total.

6 Common Claims, Checked
How the most common claims about IPTV movies and series hold up:
"IPTV VOD is bigger than a single streaming app"
180,000+ titles, counting films and individual episodes, is more than any one streaming app lists. Volume is not the same as finding what you want, so search matters more than size.
"IPTV has the same Netflix originals"
Exclusive originals made for one streaming platform (Stranger Things, Squid Game, The Crown) are generally not in IPTV VOD. If these specific shows matter to you, keep that subscription.
"Everything on IPTV VOD is in 4K"
Some titles have a 4K version and many do not; check the version label. A stable 4K stream needs about 25 Mbps on the device.
"New releases appear quickly on IPTV VOD"
New films usually reach IPTV VOD after their streaming release rather than their cinema release, and series episodes some time after broadcast. There is no fixed schedule, so search the title in your app.
"IPTV VOD works the same as Netflix"
Browsing, searching and watching work the same way. The interface depends on which player app you use, and IPTV is search-driven rather than recommendation-driven.
"IPTV replaces Netflix for most UK viewers"
If you mostly watch films, older series, British and international content and live sport, IPTV covers a lot of it. If you watch a platform's own originals, keep that subscription alongside.
Video Quality — SD, HD, and 4K Explained

How to Find Movies & Series on IPTV
Unlike Netflix which pushes content at you algorithmically, IPTV VOD is search-driven. Here is how to navigate it:
Search by title
Every IPTV player (TiviMate, IPTV Smarters, VLC) has a search function in the VOD section. Type the title of the film or series and results appear instantly.
Browse by genre
VOD libraries are organised by genre: Action, Comedy, Drama, Horror, Sci-Fi, Romance, Documentary, Kids, International. Browse categories the same way you would on Netflix.
Filter by year or rating
Many IPTV apps let you sort the VOD library by release year (newest first) or rating — useful when you want the latest releases or critically acclaimed films.
Series — find by show name
TV series appear under "VOD → Series" or "VOD → TV Shows". Search the show name, then select the season and episode you want. New episodes are added some time after broadcast, so search again if the latest one is not there yet.

What It Costs
Flickhaven plans start at £15.00 for one month, with a lower monthly rate on longer plans, and every plan includes the live channels, catch-up and the VOD library. Streaming apps price by tier and change those prices, so compare against what you pay now on the Flickhaven pricing page. If you keep one streaming app for its own originals, IPTV sits alongside it rather than replacing it.

Frequently Asked Questions
QWhat is VOD on IPTV?▼
VOD on IPTV means video on demand: films and full series seasons you start whenever you like, from the movies and series sections of your player. It sits alongside live channels, which play on a schedule, and catch-up, which covers the last 7 days of a channel.
QIs IPTV good for watching movies and TV series in the UK?▼
For most film and box-set viewing, yes. Flickhaven's VOD library holds 180,000+ titles, counting films and individual episodes, across blockbusters, British drama, international cinema, classics and box sets, in HD with 4K on selected titles. Exclusive originals made for one streaming platform are generally not included.
QCan IPTV replace Netflix for movies and series in the UK?▼
It depends on what you watch. Netflix Originals (Stranger Things, Squid Game, The Crown) are Netflix exclusives and are not on IPTV. If those shows matter to you, keep Netflix. For films, older series, British content and international cinema, an IPTV library covers a lot of the same ground.
QWhat movies and series are available on IPTV in the UK?▼
The library covers films and series across Hollywood, British drama and comedy, US drama, international cinema, animation, documentary and classic TV. Titles are added and rotated over time, so the reliable check is to search for the films and series you want during the free 24-hour trial.
QWhat quality are IPTV movies — is 4K available?▼
Yes, on selected titles. IPTV VOD comes in SD, HD (1080p) and, for some titles, 4K UHD, and the same title is often listed in more than one quality. Choose based on your connection and TV: a stable 4K stream needs about 25 Mbps on the device.
QHow quickly are new films and series added to IPTV VOD?▼
There is no fixed schedule: it depends on the provider and on when a title reaches streaming. Films usually arrive after their streaming release rather than their cinema release, and new series episodes some time after broadcast. Search the title in your app's VOD section to see whether it is there yet.
QWhy are IPTV series not working?▼
If the whole movies or series section is empty, the login or playlist is the cause: re-add the account with your Xtream Codes details. If one title will not start, that file is down, so try another version. If it plays and stops, pick the HD version or use a cable. If the latest episodes are missing, they are still being added, so use catch-up on the channel.
QDoes IPTV VOD keep track of what I've watched?▼
This depends on your IPTV app. Many players remember where you left off in a film or series and offer to resume it. It is not as seamless as a streaming service's recommendations, but it works for picking up where you stopped.
