Why does my bill differ from the price listed here?+
The table lists each provider's standard published UK price. Introductory offers, bundle deals, annual billing, mid-contract rises and legacy grandfathered plans all produce different real-world bills. Where an annual price exists we list it alongside the monthly one.
Do I need a TV Licence on top of streaming subscriptions?+
You need a TV Licence (£174.50/year in 2026) to watch or record any live TV on any service or channel, and to use BBC iPlayer at all. Watching only on-demand, non-BBC content — Netflix, Disney+ or Prime Video box sets — does not require one.
