Who We Are
Every setup guide, troubleshooting fix, app review and comparison article on Flickhaven is written and maintained by our in-house editorial team — streaming technology specialists who work with IPTV apps, devices and UK broadcasting day in, day out. The same team that answers thousands of customer support conversations each month writes the guides, which is why the articles cover the problems people actually have rather than the ones that are easy to write about.
We publish as a team rather than under individual bylines: guides are researched, tested and reviewed by more than one person before they go live, and kept current long after the original author has moved to the next article.
Our Editorial Standards
Every guide is tested on real hardware
Before a setup guide is published, the steps are run end-to-end on the actual device — Firestick, Samsung and LG Smart TVs, Android boxes, Apple TV, MAG boxes, iOS and Windows. Screenshots and menu paths come from the device, not from memory.
Content is updated, not abandoned
Apps change interfaces, channels move, and fixes stop working. We review high-traffic guides on a rolling basis and stamp each article with the date it was last verified — the dateModified you see in a page's metadata is real.
Reviews include the downsides
Our app reviews score real weaknesses — clunky EPG layouts, missing features, paid tiers that aren't worth it. A review that finds nothing wrong hasn't looked properly.
Legal topics are handled carefully
Articles touching UK law, such as our IPTV legality guide, describe the position in plain English, avoid legal advice, and link readers to official sources where a decision matters.
